As the closing bell sounded on Wall Street, the month of October came to an end, at least financially. How did we do this month?
Well, I don’t have the exact number yet, but considering that the Dow kept setting new record highs this month (up from 11676 to 12080), we definitely got some help from the market. A quick glance of our brokerage account at Scottrade shows that our investments in stocks and ETFs had gained about $5400 in October and, again, most of gain came from a sigle stock, LFC, which was up from $78.14 per share at the close of September 29th, to $84.53 per share at today’s close. The contribution from LFC alone is more than $3000 for the month of October.
There is a lot of work to do tonight, but I will be happy to stay late.
