According to Renie Ravin at Skepticity, Wordpress users can use Google's newly launched ping service and ping Google blog search automatically by adding the following 
http://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2
to "Update Services" under Option -> Write.

Following a link on pfblog.org speaks, I checked the link worth of my diary:
