On the other hand, rebates never worked for me. My success rate with rebates may be something like 25%. So I try to stay away from them. 

I totally missed on the $5 for registering your Citicard. Ironically, I made a purchase with a Citi rewards card, but didn&#039;t go through that link you gave above.
