Deal: Get Paid to Protect Your Computer with Norton AntiVirus 2007

Buy.com is having Norton AntiVirus 2007 3-user pack [Buy.com affiliate link] for $51. Use Google Checkout to get a discount of $20 now and Symantec will give you another $40 mail-in-rebate later. The rebate will be a $40 Visa debit card and, according to the terms & conditions, it can't be redeemed for cash. But you can use it just like a regular debit card for purchases at any place that accepts Visa.

I am not using Norton to protect my computer. But since I can make 9 dollars out of this deal, I just ordered one though I don't know how reliable Symantec rebate is.

I knew there had to be some way to make money from the Google Checkout discount. I have made a post about this on my blog. I used your affilliate link so maybe you will make some money from it.

Andy: Thanks for the link. I don’t want to be misleading but the current $20 off $50 at Buy.com is not a general offer I believe. There are other places also have this kind of offer, but at some places the discount can only be used towards the first order. At Buy.com, the discount is reusable. Go to Google Checkout to find all the promotions.

In buy.com’s website, it states the shipping is free. However, the google checkout still charges me $5.48 for shipping and handling. Does it happen to your guys.

Thanks!

CT: When using Google Checkout, the default shipping is not FREE (I remember before the default was free if the item qualified for a free shipping). However, if you pulled down from the menu, you will see there’s the free shipping option if the item you ordered qualifies for free shipping from the vendor. So you have to be careful. If it is free shipping on Buy.com, then you have to remember to check the shipping and change it before submit your order.
