Get $10 After Using MoneyPak to Fund Paypal Account

Paypaly is giving away $10 if you use MoneyPak to fund your Paypal account (if you have one). To get the money, all you need to do is:

  1. Use this link to register your Paypal account email address.
  2. Pick up a MoneyPak from the prepaid section at thousands of retail locations. Take it to the cashier and add any amount from $20 to $500 at most retailers, up to $1,100 at Walmart (cash only). The retailer will charge a service fee of up to $4.95.
  3. Login to PayPal. Go to the ‘Add Funds’ page, then select MoneyPak and add the funds to your account.

After this, the $10bonus will be added to your PayPal account within 14 business days. As you can see, since the retailers charge up to $4.95 processing fee for the card, your net will be $5.05. Not worth it? Well, if you happen to be at Wal-Mart or Kmart for something, it won’t be too much effort to buy a MoneyPak card. However, if you want the bonus, you probably have to get it ASAP because the supply is limited.

Up to $963,000 will be available as part of the $10 Offer. $10 Offer begins 9:00 am PT on 9/1/10, and ends 11:59 pm PT on 11/14/10 or until the full available amount has been distributed, whichever is sooner.

This deal is awesome…if I could transport back in time to when I was 10 years old and getting a $5 bill meant something.

The MoneyPak is printed on flimsy card stock that is glossed. Its not hard plastic like all the other gift cards. It just took me one week to add money to my Paypal because the MoneyPak number could not be scratched off their cheaply made product. The nightmare customer service was entirely not worth the experience. I had to endure through half a dozen calls over the week to resolve this issue. They did do it, but it was not worth to add $20 to my Paypal.
