Got My First PayPerPost Payment

I was notified this morning by PayPerPost and my Paypal that $5.02 has been credited to my bank account. This is the first payment I received from PayPerPost for writing ad post. Actually, I was a little skeptical at the beginning about the way they do business, but now, after indeed getting paid, my perception is much more positive. Not a big money, but I can always use a few bucks here and there.

Interestingly enough, my very first pay-per-post was about a company called Ontok and their ad tool, Highlighter. At that time, the company claimed that the Highlighter has no confliction with Google AdSense, but rather enhancing it. When I first installed it, it really worked very well, picking up more 10 potential terms and showing a pop-up ad window when hovering over those words. However, only after a couple of days, the Highlighter seemed ignoring the new contents of my blog and only connecting ads to one word. So I went back to Ontok and only to find that they dropped AdSense, citing competition with AdSense after communicating their Highlighter concept with Google.

So, I got paid to write something that became invalid after only several days. Anyway, that's not my concern. $5.02 is not bad for a little effort!

Congratulation to you. This is a great start for you. I don’t bring any money back to my bank account yet although I make some little money from my site.

I’m a Chinese too and I think I must say “你好å?—?” to you :-)

Harrison: It probably would be a while before I can get any meaningful money from my diary. At the beginning, I checked my AdSense account almost every day, then later on I stopped because there weren’t a lot of things happening. So now I just let it go.

And it’s really nice to know a fellow Chinese, 你好,很高兴认识你ï¼?
