That was Huge!

Biggest gain for stocks in more than four years

Highest gold future since 1980

And highest oil price ever

They all came after the larger than expected 50 basis points rate cut by the Fed today, the largest reduction in more than five years!

Looking at my own investments, the gains are huge and across the board. Today’s top gainers that match or exceed the magnitude of gains of the major indexes include:

• China Life Insurance (LFC): 5.63%
• PowerShares Gldn Dragon Halter USX China (PGJ): 5.03%
• CGM Focus (CGMFX): 4.97%
• PowerShares Water Resources (PHO): 4.36%
• China GreeTech (GRRF): 4.05%
• PowerShares HighYield Dividend Achievers (PEY): 3.98%
• Blackstone Group (BX): 3.81%
• T. Rowe Price Small-Cap Value (PRSVX): 3.48%
• T. Rowe Price New Era (PRNEX): 3.44%
• Bank of America (BAC): 3.43%
• PowerShares Intl Dividend Achievers (PID): 3.17%

The only stock in my portfolio that didn’t participate the party is Nortel, which was down 4 cents.

I don’t want to sound greedy, but it will be nice to see some follow-through tomorrow There are still lots of ground to make up.
