Finally, I Bought a Elmo TMX for My Daughter
Post viewed 347 times, 2 so far today
I didn't know Elmo TMX but after watching this Elmo video last month on Google Video, the toy really amazed me and I wanted to get one for my daughter for Christmas. At that time, I checked the price on Amazon.com and it was listed at $129 a piece from private sellers. Since then, there were several places had Elmo on sale, but it seems I was always one step late. Last weekend, I learned from Dealsea.com that Target had it, but when I checked their website, it was out-of-stock already. Then I went to a nearby store after their website said it was available for in store purchase, which turned out to be an out-dated information.
A couple of days ago, another piece of deal news surfaced and this time it was at Toys R Us. Again when I got the news, all were gone. Though my daughter didn't make any request for Christmas (she's less than two), I felt pretty bad as I wasn't able to get what I thought a funny toy for her.
Then today, without expecting anything when we walked into a Kmart store to buy Christmas tree, we found several boxes of Elmo TMX on a table near the counter! A real surprise.
My daughter didn't get to play it just yet and don't know if she will like it or not. If she doesn't, it still a fun toy even for adults.

So how much did you eventually pay for the TMX ?
You should’ve bought a couple and put them on eBay, they’d pay for the one that you do keep for her.
Bob: I paid $39.99 for the TMX which I assume is the listed price.
Jim: Actually, I thought about getting two, but there was a sign said one per customer and I didn’t go back to get another one. Maybe I should have :D.
