If you still want an ING account, you can get a $25 bonus if you open an account before the end of the year.

There’s an ING Orange Savings Account ad in the November issue of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine with a reference code for $25 bonus. I have posted similar giveaway a couple of times in the past and the codes were all taken shortly after the entries were published. If you can use the account and the $25 bonus, just leave a comment with a valid email address and I will email you the code.

Currently, ING’s Orange Savings Account is paying 4.30% APY. Not a great rate, but not the lowest either (check out the complete list of online savings accounts).

The rate is actually down to 4.3% (as of a couple days after the fed rate drop in September).

Has anyone one tried everbank. They are one of forbes best on the web banks. They have a money market account with a 5.01% interest rate and various world currency cd’s. One of the world currency cd’s collects almost 12% interest. They also have various investments they offer from investing in gold, silver, enery, etc… many different areas.
