Chase United Mileage Plus Explorer Card 40,000 Bonus Miles Promotion

Chase has recently redesigned its United Airlines credit card, replacing the old MileagePlus Card with the new Chase United MileagePlus Explorer Card, an airline credit card that now allow cardholders to earn rewards with either Untied or Contenental.  Contenental and United have recently merged to form a new company called United Contenental, so with this new card, you are able to receive double miles for every dollar spent when flying with United or Contenental. Meanwhile, the Explorer Card is also a everyday rewards credit card which earns you rewards for purchases made at everywhere else. Particularly, you get 1 mile for every dollar spent at gas stations, grocery stores, resturants, etc.

The launch of the new Explorer Card also comes with a nice promotion for new card members. If you apply and get approved for the United MileagePlus Explorer Card, you are eligible to receive 25,000 bonus miles after your frist purchase. The bonus miles are enough to redeem for a roundtrip Saver Award ticket to anywhere in the continental United States. But that’s not all. You can get another 5,000 miles after you add an authorized user to the account and the user’s first use of the card. So the total bonus miles you could receive as  a new cardholder is 30,000 miles. However, if you can charge $25,000 or more on the card in a year, you are also eligible to receive an additional 10,000 bonus miles on top of the miles earned from using the card for all the purchases. Remember, this is not a one-time bonus, but an every year bonus when you meet the annual spending limit. There’s no limit on the number of miles you can earn every year and your mileage will never expire as long as you keep your card in good stand.

An extra benefit of being a Chase United Mileage Plus Explorer Card is that you and your family member can each check in the first bag for free, when flying with United or Contenental. That could mean as much as $50 savings in baggage fee per person for a round-trip flight.  And as a cardholder, you’ll be invited to board your flight ahead of general boarding with priority boarding.

Like many airline credit cards available these day, the new Chase United MileagePlus Explorer Card also come with an annual fee of $95. The good news is membership fee for the first year is waived, which can save you another $95. The Card has a purchase APR of 15.24%.

Update: Actually, there’s a better way to get this card with more mileage. If you are a United MileagePlus member, you can log into your account and get the new MileagePlus Explorer card from there. As of now, if you have never had the card before, there’s a good chance that you will see the card with 60,000 miles offer. I got the United MileagePlus card for both me and my wife with 60,000 bonus miles from United.com last week. With the $95 annual fee, I have no intention to keep the card, but the miles are very attractive :)

Credit cards never give their offers or promotions at random.
Make to earn more spending and encourage dependency delcredito.
I suggest not using the credit card unless urgent need.
    Greetings.
