I was happy with the roadside assistance and saw this as a huge PLUS - especially if my sons broke down along the raod. One son goes to school two + hours from home and occasionallly comes home.This weekend we had to use the roadside assistance program TWICE! This is done through a third party vendor. Though they were responsive, the first tow cost us $100 and the second $300. When I tried to appeal to the vendor to call another service she was less than cordial and said they are not in the "shop around" business. My son didn't have $300 on him the 2nd time nor did he have a credit card. We had to drive about 80 miles to intercept him while the towing company was there to get our son and pay the tow truck driver. To say the least, this "convenient" EXTRA wasn't all it was cracked up to be and left us with a very frustrating experience.
