We do the High Deductible plan at my husbands work and LOVE IT! The max out of pocket is 5K. We have a 40 dollar premium and can put in up to 6200 a year tax free for our family plan. His traditional plan has a 200 dollar premium. We put in an extra 150 a pay to the HSA and his company puts in 85. Last year we had 700 in bills and we made money! This year we maxed out because of a surgery and paid the 5K but that is only 200 more than what our traditional premiums would be and now we have no co-pays, medical or medication bills till 2010.
