I got in a bad accident and it wasn't my fault but I still expected my insurance to go up. To my delight it didn't. I used to pay $1244 every six months, but my renewal bill dropped to $702 when I got my renewal notice!!! Of course I've had no incidents in the last 6 months, but I didn't have any drop off either. I'm with Progressive, by the way. I am shocked but very very pleased. :-) My point is that maybe the ins companies are updating their pricing models or something...and PS I know I pay really high car insurance.
