  • Chief Family Officer explains why she prefers not to use an online bank for their emergency fund. I want to get the most of my money, so I use the bank giving me the highest rate.
  • Grad Money Matters talk about debt in a campaign against financial myths. It’s an interesting series on some common perceptions of finances.
  • My Open Wallet shares her experience on saving to buy a home: “The biggest sacrifice I made was to give up short term comfort in favor of being able to afford long term comfort.”
  • Wise Bread gives us the passport to huge savings: ice cube tray. There are many ideas to use the tray, including making your own ice coffee with ….. left over coffee!!??
