Around the PF Blogosphere: August 22, 2007

I found the following articles quite entertaining:

  • Consumerism Commentary says he wants to be “the second step to getting in financial gear” in an post titled The Second Step to Cleaning Up Your Finances.
  • Grad Money Matters shares a long list of what she does to live frugally. I found them very inspiring.
  • Zillow Blog wonders whether open house help sell your house. I say yes, though I have never sold a house before.
  • Moolanomy has top 10 money wasters as asks “are you guilty?” I do subscribe to some magazines that I found myself almost have no time to read :(
  • Broke-Aass Student discusses a historical approach to finance and happiness and declares “Finances may feel important, but over obsessing about money is unbalanced and certainly not healthy.”

    Sun,

In 1999, our house was sold to a viewer from the first open house. I did worry about petty thievery. However, we were lucking and nothing bad happened during the open house.

I am in the same situation regarding subscriptions. My wife is the only one who has time, but all she read is the fashion magazines. :-(
