Articles I like:

  • AllFinancialMatters talk about longevity insurance and wonder whether it’s worth it. It’s an interesting topic, but probably will be the last insurance policy I will ever consider :D .
  • Get Rich Slowly share an idea on how to save on groceries: strike-point shopping, i.e., stock pile items you use often when they are on sale.
  • The Frugal Duchess has a story on a man uses price guarantee to save big money. I know such policy, but never used it as I always try to find the lowest price before shopping.
  • Accumulating Money considers opening a 529 college savings plan as birthday gift instead of giving toys for youngsters. It’s an idea I have been considering for my nephews as well, though I may not getting them 529 plans. Probably I-bonds.
  • The Dividend Guy tells us how to identify a company whose dividends are at risk.
  • Finally, you can forget about any benefits of diet coke now as a study found soft drinks, diet or regular, pose the same level of risk of heart disease.
