  • Free Money Finance says timing is important when asking for a raise. I think a good time is after you make a signification contribution to the organization.
  • The Frugal Law Student has some interesting finds on the worst time to go grocery shopping. I try not to go to grocery stores on Sundays.
  • Bank Deals discusses HSBC’s next possible move in wake of FNBO’s recent 6.00% APY promotional offer. Hopefully, it will be a situation that when banks compete, customers win.
  • Tired but Happy is asking people to list their total number of credit cards and the overall credit limits. Tough one for me as I almost lost track of the number of cards I have. If I remember correctly, I have 20 cards with a total limits of more than $200K.
  • Finally, according to My Wealth Builder, TD Ameritrade is now offering new client a FREE iPod Nano if the account is funded with $10,000 and remains open for 9 months. The offer expires June 30, 2007. I could use one if I don’t have to leave the money in the account for 9 months.
