Weekend Linkage – January 3, 2010
So the holiday season is finally over. How was yours?
I took some time off from work this week to take the kids around as they were also having their winter break. We first make a trip to the Great Wolf Waterpark in Pennsylvania last week after the big snow storm. Since it’s an indoor park with temperature in the 80, the kids had a lot of fun even though it was freezing cold outside (it was as bad in PA as in VA). Ironically, the waterpark is only 45 miles from where we lived in NJ and we didn’t even know there’s such a fun place. Then early this week, we went to Christmas on the Potomac at Gaylord National Convention Center in Maryland on a windy, cold day. Inside the tents where the ice artworks are displayed, it was even colder as you can imagine. But that didn’t stop us from enjoying the ICE!
Hope you also had a fun holiday.
