Silicon Valley Blogger at The Digerati Life talks about some common fights over money and outlines strategies to avoid them. In my opinion, no fight over money is worth it: it will only increase the tension without resolving anything.

Jeremy at Generation X Finance has a two-session Q&A series (part II) with authors of the book, On My Own Two Feet: A Modern Girl’s Guide to Personal Finance. Lots of real-life questions and answers from which we can all benefit.

Ben at Money Smart Life is curious to know whether you would rather making more money or be with your family. Interesting question. I like to spend time with my daughters, but if I can’t give them the financial support they need, would I be happy?

Golbguru at Money, Matter and More Musings lists 25 things they do to save money, including sleeping a sleeping bag for 1.5 years. That post brings back a lot of memory of those good, old days of my own when I was a graduate student.

Lazy Man at Lazy Man and Money compares life near a big city and in the country. As an immigrant, big cities provide environments that are not available in small countries: more job opportunities (especially high-tech jobs) and more diversified communities.

Jim at Blueprint of Financial Prosperity posts an interesting question: Should someone take out a 0% balance transfer to fund a Roth IRA? My answer is: You can use the money for whatever you are pleased, buying a car, taking a vacation, or funding an IRA of course, as long as you pay the money back when it’s due.

Nickel at Five Cent Nickel offers 10 tips for a successful moving sale.

FMF at Free Money Finance talks about what do with the money you have been saving in 529 plans if your child gets a scholarship.

MHB at Might Bargain Hunter discusses fixed-rate mortgage payment, inflation, and investing.

J.D. at Get Rich Slowly is hosting this week’s Carnival of Personal Finance, the special 2nd anniversary edition. It’s a collection of the best posts of the past two years. My post, the complete process of 4-week T-bill investment, earned me a big star :) Check out the carnival for the greatest posts from PF bloggers.
